The
Uganda Initiative
Uganda has endured so much—genocide, war crimes, and the loss of many leaders. Today, the church in Uganda is hungry for trained biblical leaders, and we have the privilege of helping to equip them.
Through our partnership with the Pastors Discipleship Network (PDN), we have identified leaders who are eager for biblical education but unable to finance it.
By supporting these leaders, we strengthen not only their personal ministries but also the broader health and stability of the church in East Africa.
In September 2025, MCC enrolled an initial cohort of 12 Ugandan students in our Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership program. These students, chosen by PDN President Richmond Wandera for their active community roles and leadership potential, are now receiving training in biblical studies, leadership development, and ministry practice.
The cost for each Master’s student is about $1,800 per semester (6 semesters over 2 years). The total cost for this cohort per semester is $21,600.
MCC’s long-term goal for this project is to raise funds to support up to five cohorts of 12 MA students each year from the Pastors Discipleship Network, at a total annual cost of $325,000.
Your partnership in this initiative will directly equip a generation of Ugandan church leaders to serve with integrity, skill, and biblical conviction as well as multiply their impact by mentoring and training others.
Together, we can see lives transformed, churches strengthened, and communities renewed.
