Technology Requirements
What technology is needed for participating in online courses at MCC?
Computer with a word processing program and audio/video capabilities

Papers need to be submitted as Microsoft Word or PDF files

There are course videos you will need to watch
Internet access

As all course interaction is online, you will will need to be able to connect to the internet to upload files, submit online discussion posts, watch videos, and communicate via email
Other

Zoom - If there are any online meetings in a class they will use Zoom – a free version is available for download, if Zoom is not accessible in your country alternate arrangements will be made on a case by case basis

Webcam, microphone – are recommended and may be required

Course Schedule and Tips

Courses are asynchronous, which means you can work on them any time of the day from anywhere in the world to complete the weekly scheduled assignments and discussion posts

Schedule your days/week to spend time on your course work to meet deadlines

Organize your work and save it on your computer before uploading to Populi so you have a backup of your work
