Position Summary:
The Burtts Corner Church of Christ (instrumental), located just outside of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, is seeking a full time experienced Senior Minister. The ideal candidate must be firmly grounded in God’s Word, and dedicated to a disciple-making/strengthening ministry through prayer, solid preaching and teaching. The candidate must be a strong leader with a vision and passion for growth.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of a Restoration Movement college or university (a major in preaching and teaching is favourable)
- Previous experience as a leader of a church that has undergone substantial growth would be beneficial
- Must possess strong communication, people, and conflict management skills as well as tact
- Must be able to interact favourably with a multi-generational congregation
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preach during our regular Sunday morning worship services
- Work cooperatively with the Elders and current associate minister to share a vision of growth for our congregation
- Willing to provide counselling and focused teaching
- Willing to visit and interact with members of the congregation and those in the community
