Every year during the last full week of January, the College hosts a series of lectures. These lectures began when the College was established and in 1980 became known as the Kenneth T. Norris Lectureship. The Lectureship provides the opportunity for the students, friends and supporters of the College to hear some of the most outstanding speakers from the fellowship of the Christian Churches or Churches of Christ. In the past five years we have offered the following speakers: Jim Tune – Let’s Get Real (2012); Peter Bowyer – Building a Powerful Life (2011); Dr. Richard Knopp, Dr. David Roadcup, John & Stefanie Cassetto – Into God (2010); Dr. Gary Johnson – Common Sense for Uncommon Times (2009); Dr. Jerry Taylor – A Fruitful Life in the Spirit (2008).

The week of the Lectureship is always a highlight, it is an action-packed and event-filled week with both morning and evening lectures. The morning sessions are held at Sherwood Church of Christ and the evening sessions are held at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The College Campus becomes the center of activity during the Lectureship with the influx of visitors and alumni. Friendships are made and renewed and the time of study and learning creates excitement which proves to be, for many, the spiritual apex of their year.
